Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo takes office as Secretary of Economy

Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo took office as Secretary of the Economy of Mexico.

Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo has a Master in Public Administration from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León and a degree in English from the Tec de Monterrey (ITESM). She has studies in: Culture of Legality from The George Washington University; in Governance from Harvard University and in Economic and Political Perspectives for Mexico from Harvard University, in United States.

She has been a public servant at the municipal and state levels for 12 years, and a two-time federal deputy.

She also served as a delegate at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in South Africa and participated in the National Economic Development Forum.

Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo

The official was part of the San Ángel Group; she was the organizer of the “World March of Women 2000”, Nuevo León chapter; in addition to being the founder of the civil association “Evolución Mexicana” (2010).

Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo has been a teacher at various educational institutions and a lecturer at various international institutes such as the University of Berkeley in California, and the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.

Likewise, she has worked in the private sector for about ten years and is currently a partner in a family real estate company.

She was coordinator of the campaign of the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
