Mexican company Grupo Bafar opened 100 new CarneMart stores in 2023, to reach a total of 360 units.With this, according to Grupo Bafar, CarneMart is the fastest growing meat store chain nationwide.Óscar Eugenio Baeza Fares founded this company, of which he is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

This company is one of Mexico‘s leading producers and marketers of animal protein products.Founded in 1979, Grupo Bafar has established itself as one of the leading producers and distributors of beef, pork and chicken in Mexico.Its product line includes deli meats, packaged meats, precooked foods, meat cuts, and value-added lines (chicken, pork, beef, and fish products with additional processing such as breading, stuffing, and marinating). Grupo Bafar had revenues of Ps. 25.599 billion in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 3 percent.At the same time, its net income was Ps. 3.806 billion, an increase of 80 percent versus the previous year.

CarneMart
