The United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) reported that it will hold the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2021 from June 7 to 11, which will be held for the virtual first time.
Among its overriding goals, cabinet members, CEOs and global investors come together to drive business interest in the United States.
US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo will host the 2021 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
She will be joined by several cabinet members, governors, top CEOs and small business leaders seeking to attract global companies to invest in the US economy.
Government aides also include Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen; the Secretary of Labor, Marty Walsh; the Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm; Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Small Business Administration Administrator Isabel Guzman.
SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest-profile event dedicated to promoting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the United States.
Representatives from nearly every state and territory in that country and more than 60 international markets have already registered for this year’s event.
Since its inception, the SelectUSA Investment Summit has generated more than $ 48.4 billion in FDI, supporting more than 45,000 jobs.
