The Ministry of Foreign Relations (SRE), through the Embassy of Mexico in Germany, promoted Mexican products of different brands at the KaDeWe department store in Berlin.
This Embassy participated in nine economic and business promotion seminars in 2020. Among them, those held at the sector level in automotive, tourism and agricultural products stand out.
The Embassy also promoted and managed business promotion events and seminars with the participation of high authorities of the Mexican government.
From August 24 to September 5, 41 Mexican products of different brands were presented in the gastronomic section of the KaDeWe department store in the city of Berlin.
Likewise, actions were carried out to identify export opportunities for Mexican agricultural products, such as mango, pineapple and lemon, with the support of the Mexican Association of Economic Development Secretaries (AMSDE).
The Embassy held virtual meetings with the Secretaries of Economic Development of Puebla, Quintana Roo, Chiapas and Querétaro to coordinate commercial promotion and investment attraction actions.
In this way, it contributed to the organization of commercial promotion events, such as the 3rd virtual business meeting with Chiapas (November 3), and a commercial promotion seminar with Veracruz (November 11), with the support of CANACINTRA .
Likewise, a strategy of rapprochement with German companies specialized in renewable energies and with the German Energy Agency (DENA) was initiated, with a view to holding a virtual seminar on investment opportunities in the energy sector of Quintana Roo.
On November 5, a virtual meeting was coordinated between Quintana Roo officials and the Enercon company.
