Nuevo Laredo customs dominates in auto parts
Nuevo Laredo Customs had a greater flow of auto parts in its operations in 2019, according to information from the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
Mexican exports of auto parts to the United States maintained a continuous growth during the last 10 years at interannual rates, reaching 61,682 million dollars in 2019.
Specifically, the Nuevo Laredo Customs Office has 15 lanes (a path designated for cargo vehicles to enter and exit customs), 15 selection modules (random customs recognition mechanism) and 54 positions (platform assignment on the acknowledgments).
In addition, it has three Fiscalized Enclosures and Strategic Fiscalized Enclosures (RFE): Inspecciones Fitosanitarias y Aduaneras de Nuevo Laredo, S.A. de C.V., PG Servicios de Logística, S.C. and Loginspecs, S.C.
In the definitive import regime, personal or controlled premises regime has the authorization to import or export radioactive and nuclear products; chemical precursors (except fraction 2939.42.01); cigars and tobacco products (definitive import or fiscal deposit for general warehouses); footwear, alcoholic beverages, mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous materials; mineral waxes, and used vehicles.
While in the definitive export regime, the Nuevo Laredo Customs may authorize the import or export of tequila and radioactive and nuclear products.

This is one of the 19 customs located on the northern border of the country. It is located on the Nuevo Laredo Highway, Piedras Negras kilometer 12.5, World Trade Bridge (Bridge 3), in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

As a bird’s-eye view of the dynamism of the border, 211,000 cars, 17,000 trucks, 449 buses, and 31 trains (carrying 1,400 full containers) crossed into the United States from Mexico each day of 2018, on average.
