PlayCity’s gaming machines reached 5,800 by the end of 2025, an increase of 300 units from 2024.

The company is one of Mexico’s leading gaming and lottery companies, operating casinos under the same brand name.

PlayCity’s main competitors in Mexico include gaming and betting operators such as Grupo Caliente, Codere, Grupo Cirsa, Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento, and Grupo Logrand. All of them compete in land-based casinos, sports betting, and digital platforms within the regulated Mexican market.

At PlayCity, slot machines are the core of the business. Its catalog (both physical and digital) can exceed 400 different games. Many of them exactly replicate the experience of brick-and-mortar casinos.

Furthermore, these machines typically come from international providers such as Novomatic or Pragmatic Play. As a result, players in Mexico can find the same titles and mechanics as in European casinos.

Gaming Segment

The Gaming segment of Ollamani, PlayCity’s parent company, includes the operation of 17 establishments in Mexico under the “Play City” brand.

Revenue from Ollamani’s Gaming segment totaled 803.8 million and 735.8 million pesos, representing 51.6% and 54.9% of the company’s total unaudited consolidated revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2025, and 2024, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Gaming segment’s profit reached 106.3 and 117.5 million pesos, equivalent to 13.2% and 16.0% of the company’s consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2025, and 2024, respectively.

Regulations in Mexico

On November 16, 2023, the federal government published a decree in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) amending the Regulations of the Federal Law on Games and Lotteries. The measure bans slot machines, limits permits to 15 years without extension, and adjusts their validity period.

Apuestas Internacionales obtained a definitive injunction against key provisions, confirmed on appeal in December 2024. The ruling removes specific restrictions on the company. No provisions for contingencies were recorded. Management anticipates that pending litigation will not materially affect its consolidated financial statements.
