Ensenada Bay Village – Treasures of Baja plays a key role among Carnival Corporation’s new developments, as it is a new exclusive destination in Mexico.

The destination is designed to highlight the natural beauty of Baja California, offering guests a combination of adventure, culture, and relaxation experiences.

Its creation aims to benefit the company’s cruise deployments on the west coast of North America, strengthening its offering in that region.

This announcement is part of the company’s strategy to expand its exclusive destination development program, which also includes other projects in its “Paradise Collection” such as Celebration Key, RelaxAway at Half Moon Cay, and Isla Tropicale.

In 2025, the company opened its exclusive Celebration Key destination in Grand Bahama. Since its opening in July, this innovative development has welcomed more than one million guests, establishing itself as a key asset within its destination portfolio.

Carnival continues to strengthen Celebration Key’s performance through planned expansions at other properties in its Paradise Collection. These include RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, and Isla Tropicale, formerly Mahogany Bay, with developments scheduled for completion in 2026.

In addition, the company announced the development of Ensenada Bay Village – Treasures of Baja. This destination will highlight the natural beauty of Baja California through adventure, culture, and relaxation experiences, while strengthening its presence on the west coast.

Finance

Carnival Corporation posted record revenues of $26.622 billion in 2025. This figure exceeded the $25.021 billion recorded in 2024 and the $21.593 billion recorded in 2023. The company thus consolidated a track record of sustained growth in recent fiscal years.

In the global cruise market, Carnival competes primarily with Royal Caribbean Group and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Both offer diversified fleets and premium services. In addition, MSC Cruises is pushing for global market share, while Disney Cruise Line is intensifying the rivalry in itineraries, experiences, and prices.

By the end of November 2025, Carnival had seven cruise ships scheduled for delivery through 2033. These ships will be built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and Meyer Werft in Germany as part of its fleet expansion strategy.

The company also made significant capital commitments to grow its operating capacity. Specifically, it projected an investment of $11.814 billion in new construction between 2026 and after 2030, focused exclusively on expanding its fleet.
