Anabana’s success in soursop production

Anabana is a soursop producer and processor certified by Global GAP and located in the central region of Colombia.

Also known as Graviola, corossol and stachelannone, soursop is processed using a very meticulous artisan technique that takes special care of its appearance and taste, which are key factors in the quality of the final product.

Anabana has a wide range of soursop products that are used in the industrial sector as raw material for juices, smoothies and ice cream preparations.

Likewise, the company takes special care of the traceability of its 75 hectares of soursop.

Additionally, Anabana develops private labels for retail and food service companies.

For the Import Promotion Desk (IPD) of Germany, this is a company that promotes in the German market.

The company is located in the heart of the Colombian coffee region, on the slopes of the Andes where its fruits are grown.

With over 100 years of experience, Anabana has 4,000 Guanabana trees planted on her farm, with important plans to expand further.

Today, the company sells Guanabana products to the food industry, mainly for juices, smoothies, ice cream, dairy products, and pastries.

The objective of IPD is the sustained and structured promotion of the importation of certain products from selected partner countries, in accordance with high quality social and environmental standards.

The IPD brings together the interests of German importers with those of exporters from growing emerging markets.

By promoting market access for small and medium-sized enterprises from shortlisted partner countries to the European market, IPD advocates for the creation of new jobs and the enhancement of national export capacities.

Meanwhile, European companies can optimize their import processes from these markets.

The IPD is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
