Focused on the production and marketing of meats and cured meats, Grupo Bafar is now venturing into agro-industrial and luxury tourism.
This Mexican company continues to develop the Valle de los Encinos. This development includes a winery, a hotel, a golf course, and a restaurant.
Notable examples include: in the Guadalupe Valley, Monte Xanic offers premium tastings; Casa Madero combines history with high-end hospitality; while Hacienda Uayamon integrates exclusive agricultural experiences, positioning luxury agro-industrial tourism in Mexico with a focus on added value and sophistication.
Grupo Bafar’s Agro-Industrial Tourism
In its Real Estate segment, the company began construction of the hotel. It estimates completion for the fourth quarter of 2026.
As part of Valle de los Encinos, Grupo Bafar developed the first phase of an amenities complex. This phase includes the construction of a village with Tuscan architecture that will allow visitors and clients seeking to host events to enjoy a unique experience. An experience that will feature event halls, a church, a gift shop, a restaurant, and a fully equipped winery.
In this way, the company aims to transition from cold cuts to Tuscan luxury. This involves a real estate transformation in the Valle de los Encinos. The new approach also entails an ambitious diversification of the company into luxury tourism. Additionally, it focuses on the high-value real estate sector.
In its agro-industrial business, the company plans to increase its grape production. In 2023, production was less than 50,000 tons, but the goal is to reach nearly 250,000 tons by 2027.
The Luxury Hotel
Currently, Grupo Bafar is moving forward with phase two, which includes the construction of a hotel with just over 100 rooms. This hotel will be operated by one of the most internationally recognized chains. Additionally, there will be a golf course featuring an exclusive design certified by one of the world’s most prestigious firms. This will provide a unique golfing experience in northern Mexico.
In the coming months, Grupo Bafar will begin construction of a clubhouse. The clubhouse will offer all the recreational and leisure activities that a property of this type requires.
In addition to providing unique hospitality experiences, Valle de los Encinos offers an investment opportunity in residential lots, which will undoubtedly form one of the most exclusive communities, surrounded by spectacular natural scenery and equipped with all the necessary services and infrastructure for a second home.
As part of the real estate division’s growth strategy, the company established a strategic agreement with the regional developer Grupo Roma. To this end, it created a trust comprising just over 400 hectares of undeveloped land in the municipality of Chihuahua. These plots represent the first phase. Additional hectares will be added in the coming months.
These land reserves will serve as the foundation for the new real estate area, enabling the development of commercial projects, hospitals and clinics, high-rise housing, and social housing, among others; as well as industrial land reserves that Fibra Nova can incorporate into its strategy for developing new parks for the export manufacturing industry.
