The Ollamani company highlighted seven talents that emerged from Club América‘s basic forces.

Club América has basic forces focused on the sporting and personal development of its athletes. This comprehensive model is a key part of the CFA. As a result, many players trained in these categories not only reach the first team. They also manage to excel in some of the most important clubs in the world.

Basic Forces

Club América has 269 players in 11 categories, both men’s (8) and women’s (3). In addition, the coaching staff includes 77 sports professionals. Thanks to this successful business model, based on a well-structured methodology, outstanding players have emerged who have shined in professional soccer. Among them are:

  • Raúl Jiménez
  • Diego Reyes
  • Diego Lainez
  • Edson Álvarez
  • Sebastián Córdova
  • Ramón Juárez (current)
  • Dagoberto Espinoza (current)

Mexican Soccer Federation

Club América not only trains great talent, but also serves as a showcase for Mexican and foreign players to reach top-level international teams. As an affiliate of the Federación Mexicana de Futbol Asociación (FMF), the club must comply with the regulatory framework governing organized soccer in Mexico. These statutes and regulations include key provisions on sports, administrative and disciplinary matters:

  • Registration and transfer of players (professional and basic forces).
  • Club licenses.
  • Competition rules (Liga MX, youth and women’s tournaments).
  • Disciplinary rules and appeal committees.
  • Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
  • Financial compliance rules (including national financial fair play).

Club América, as part of Grupo Ollamani, must comply with the statutes and regulations of the Mexican Federation of Association Football (FMF). Non-compliance may result in sporting, economic or administrative sanctions, such as loss of points or restrictions in competitions. Grupo Ollamani, created in January 2024 after separating from Grupo Televisa, is a Mexican entertainment and sports company listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “AGUILAS.CPOs”. Its principal holdings include Club América, Estadio Azteca, PlayCity, Editorial Televisa, and Intermex.
