They fell from 67.0 million metric tons in 2021 to 52.3 million metric tons in 2024.

Production capacity
Cemex is one of the world’s largest ready-mix concrete and aggregates companies, with annual sales volumes of 44 million cubic meters and 136 million metric tons, respectively, based on its annual sales volumes in 2024.
In 2024, the company traded 12 million tons of cementitious and non-cementitious materials in more than 60 countries, including approximately 8 million tons of cement and clinker and 3 million tons of cementitious and other materials.
Financial results
During the first quarter of 2025, Cemex reported record net income of US$734 million, up 189% year-over-year. In addition, net sales totaled US$3.649 billion, a 7% year-over-year decline.
On the other hand, EBITDA was US$601 million. Thus, it supported the annual guidance, which remains unchanged. Free cash flow reflected seasonal trends in working capital during the period.
Finally, EBITDA margin showed an improvement. This improvement was due to higher prices and lower energy and freight costs, which helped mitigate the impact of lower volumes and weather-related maintenance.
