Telefónica and OMV

The main Virtual Mobile Operators (OMV) were: Freedom (0.5% share), OVI (0.4%) Virgin Mobile (0.2%), QBO Cel (0.4), WEEX, (Flash Mobile (0.1 percent).

Virtual mobile operators are companies that do not have their own telecommunications network and offer the service by renting the network of other companies, for example, Virgin Mobile uses the Telefónica network.

While the percentages are calculated with respect to the total lines of the mobile telephone service, the unbundling of free postpaid refers to those lines whose service is initially postpaid but which allows additional top-ups.

The sum of the percentages may differ from 100% due to rounding.

MOU stands for Average Minutes of Use per month and per line, for its acronym in English Minutes of Use. OTHER OMV includes MAXCOM, BUENO CELL, MEGACABLE, SIMPATI, CERTO, MAZ TIEMPO, NEUS MOBILE, HER MOBILE, SIMPLII, TOKA MOVIL, SIX MOVIL, AIRBUS and MIIO.

The minute traffic corresponds to the sum of the months of July, August and September 2019.

The following operators under OMV scheme have a number of lines that are below the threshold of 10,000 established in the delivery of information, so they are not obliged to present traffic information: AIRBUS, HER MOBILE, MAZ TIEMPO, MIIO, NEUS MOBILE, SIMPLII, SIX MOVIL and TOKA MOVIL.
