SSA Mexico receives the world’s largest automotive transport vessels

SSA Mexico received in the port of Veracruz the vessel SIEM Aristóteles, one of the largest car carriers for ro-ro operations in the world, the second RoRo liquefied natural gas vessel to arrive at its docks, after SIEM Confucius.

Both specialized vessels are classified as the largest in the world for the operation of services to the automotive industry and are among the most modern, environmentally friendly and energy efficient freighters in the global fleet.

The Roll On-Roll Off (RoRo) vessels of the SIEM Car Carriers shipping line carry out traffic in large ports with automotive operations.

In Veracruz, through its docks and patios, SSA México moves a large part of the production of Mexican vehicles for export and import, to and from different ports around the world.

Among other recent unloading maneuvers carried out by SSA Mexico, with the highest standards of efficiency and productivity, is the helicopter model H-175, acquired by Transportes Aéreos Pegaso, which arrived in Veracruz aboard the Victoria Hiahway ship of the Japanese shipping line K-line.

SSA Mexico provided the equipment and personnel to carry out the landing maneuvers, from the docks where the ship docked to the dome of its north patio, where it remained in shelter until its takeoff to Playa del Carmen.

The port operator with activities and facilities in the main ports of the country, offers a diversity of services within the port industry, operating container terminals, cruise ships, general cargo and automobiles.

SSA México is a subsidiary of Carrix, one of the main private equity port operators worldwide and the main one in the United States.
