SI-PORT: National Standard Finance will invest US $ 900 million in new port

National Standard Finance plans investments of $ 900 million in SI-PORT, a new port to be built in Sinaloa, Mexico.

SI-PORT is part of the T-MEC Logistics and Industrial Corridor project.

The port would be near Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and would have investments between 150 and 200 million dollars in its first stage.

The T-MEC Logistics and Industrial Corridor project was created by the Caxxor Group company.

National Standard Finance is an institutional investor based in the United States, has access to large volumes of capital mainly in the development of infrastructure projects

Caxxor Group is an Infrastructure investment bank with a global presence. Although it maintains its headquarters in the United Kingdom, the company is of Mexican origin.

Both firms have experience in logistics infrastructure development and logistics infrastructure financing, and access to the world’s largest EPCs, port operators, railways, and real estate developers to offer a comprehensive project.

SI-PORT

The T-MEC Logistics and Industrial Corridor also includes the rehabilitation of 167 km of Mexican railways and the construction of another 180 km of roads, for an amount of between 650 and 700 million dollars.

SI-PORT will have a draft greater than 18 meters and more than 2 kilometers of dock.

Opportunities with the new port

The Pacific-North America trade route is one of the most important in the world, transporting more than 27.4 million TEUs per year and it is estimated that by 2030 it could exceed 40 million TEUs.

Asian shipping companies have expressed interest in creating new routes based on the port of Sinaloa.

Caxxor has had a relevant negotiation capacity with these shipping companies since it is developing other ports in the Latin American Pacific, such as the port of Buenaventura in Colombia.

SI-PORT will have warehouses and patios for vehicles.
